About Dr. French
Dr. Paul M. French is the Primate of the Conservative Anglican Communion (CAC), an organization he has led with a vision for orthodox Anglican theology, pastoral integrity, and global mission. Based in Texas, his ministry spans over 20 nations in North America, South and Central America, Africa, Europe, and Asia, where he oversees clergy formation and church planting.
Before entering full-time ministry, Dr. French served as a police officer in London, where his career took him from frontline policing to the personal protection of Lord Diplock, to work as a Detective on the International and Organised Crime Branch at New Scotland Yard, and into the world of counter-intelligence. This remarkable background gives him an understanding of leadership, risk, human nature, and institutional integrity that few ministry leaders can match.
Most of his ministry career was lived as bivocational clergy, working alongside ordinary people while serving the Church, a reality that gives him profound empathy for the men and women in ministry today. His extensive work with clergy, veterans, and law enforcement professionals facing mental and spiritual struggles has made him a trusted voice at the intersection of faith and wellness.
His ability to bring practical, business-minded solutions to complex organizational challenges, grounded in Christian values and real-world experience, is truly unique. Whether addressing institutional governance, leadership development, or financial stewardship, Dr. French bridges the worlds of commerce and calling with rare clarity.
As an author, Dr. French writes for those in the trenches: the bivocational pastor juggling two worlds, the believer whose faith has grown cold, the soul in crisis, and the leader who needs practical wisdom from the ancient wells of Anglican tradition.
